LEGO Advent Calendars 2026: All 5 Compared, 2 Sold Out

The LEGO Advent calendars 2026 lineup on lego.com is five boxes, and on October 24 two of them, the $44.99 Marvel and the $34.99 City, read Sold out. If the countdown is for a Star Wars, Disney or Friends fan, you can still order from LEGO; for Marvel or City, lego.com offered no way to buy that day.

Checked on lego.com on Oct 22 and again on Oct 24, 2026. We haven't built these sets; build impressions below are quoted from lego.com reviewers.

Which LEGO Advent calendar 2026 is the best value?

The cheapest per piece is the one you cannot buy. 60510 City gives 252 pieces for $34.99, 13.9 cents a piece, but it read Sold out at every lego.com check we have made since Oct 10. 76340 Marvel is next at 14.2 cents, and it is sold out too.

Of the three left, 75456 Star Wars is the value pick at 15.4 cents a piece, a hair ahead of Disney Princess at 15.5. Its reviewers are less sure: on Oct 22 they gave it 3.9 out of 5 for value for money, the lowest of its sub-scores. 42698 Friends is the cheapest box, $1.46 a day, and the dearest per piece, 16.6 cents for 211 pieces.

Stores outside lego.com have been cheaper. Tom's Guide's October 16 roundup listed the Friends calendar at $25 at Amazon. We track lego.com only, so check the store's own page on the day.

Value winner you can order: Star Wars, 293 pieces for $44.99.

What is behind the doors, without spoilers

We skip the day-by-day order. Here is what lego.com says each box contains.

75456 Star Wars is a Mandalorian calendar. lego.com lists "The Mandalorian and Moff Gideon LEGO minifigures, plus Grogu and Pit Droid LEGO figures all in holiday outfits", plus Carson Teva and a Jawa. There are "7 mini build vehicles, including an X-wing in festive colors", and creature figures such as a Bantha and a Dewback. Tom's Guide counts 24 mini builds.

43298 Disney Princess has "24 mini builds, including 8 beloved Disney Princess characters": Ariel, Cinderella, Moana and Mulan as microdolls, plus Gus, Mushu, Pua and Sebastian. The box turns into a board game; lego.com says it can "Entertain up to 8 players with the built-in game board".

76340 Marvel has six minifigures, Wolverine among them, and builds such as a Captain America snowman. Our favourite line in its copy: "a Christmas tree made with green Wolverine claws".

42698 Friends promises "24 days of festive fun" with Nova, Liann and Aliya and "6 mini animal figures: a seal, pony, weasel, polar bear, penguin and a bunny". 60510 City brings Santa, Mrs. Claus, three elves, a snowman and a baby reindeer, and the box folds out into Santa's workshop.

Minifigure winner: Star Wars. Mando and Grogu come in matching sweaters, and the box adds Moff Gideon, Carson Teva and a Jawa.

Analysis: two sold out, and no Harry Potter

TechRadar wrote on October 16 that "some of the 2026 sets are already showing as sold out in some places." On lego.com that is now two named sets.

Desk note: Our catalog reads have shown 60510 City as Sold out at every check since the first, on Oct 10. 76340 Marvel read Available now on Oct 10 and 11, was gone from lego.com's New list by Oct 13, and its product page read Sold out on Oct 21 and 22. Of the five, only the Marvel box sold out while we watched.

The other gap is a whole calendar. Jay's Brick Blog reported in May that LEGO had dropped the Harry Potter calendar, and Brick Fanatics and Jay's both count five calendars this year. TechRadar's "six new sets" names no sixth. Fans noticed. Charleygirl55, reviewing the Star Wars calendar on lego.com on September 17, wrote: "I miss the Harry Potter advent calendar this year (2026)". The reviewer then tucked Harry Potter polybag builds into some of the Star Wars days.

Star Wars buyers sound won over. AnnainLegoland wrote on September 2: "I stopped getting Lego Star Wars Advent Calendars after repetitive builds or similar minifigures outfits. But this year Grogu's cuteness made me purchase it!" The Disney box splits its few reviewers. Two of the three reviews on lego.com give one star over the small microdoll figures, one titled "Needs full size figures". The third, from Momma T, liked that it "can be used for playing with after all the “gifts” are opened!"

For adults: a countdown that is not an Advent calendar

None of the LEGO Advent calendars 2026 is marked 18+. If the countdown is for a grown-up builder, LEGO's own newsroom calls 40874 Santa's Holiday Countdown "this 873-piece countdown calendar, complete with a snowy roof and chimney, Santa and sack of toys". It is a 10+ build, $59.99 and Available now on lego.com on Oct 24. Our LEGO Christmas sets 2026 guide has it next to the Holiday House.

Our take

Pick 75456 Star Wars unless the child loves Disney's game board idea. It had the best price per piece of the three in stock, 15.4 cents, and one reviewer who had stopped buying these calendars came back for Grogu.

Buy 75456 Star Wars if the fan is 6 or older, likes The Mandalorian or collects sweater minifigures: $44.99 for 293 pieces. Buy 43298 Disney Princess if the child is 5 and wants a game to play after December 24, and you can live with microdolls. Buy 42698 Friends if $34.99 is the budget.

What we don't know yet: whether lego.com restocks 76340 Marvel or 60510 City before December; LEGO hasn't said. On our watchlist: we re-read all five product pages before Black Friday.

We haven't built these sets; build impressions above are quoted from lego.com reviewers. This take uses only the lego.com data and sources cited above, checked Oct 24, 2026.

How we checked this

On Oct 22 we opened the lego.com product pages of all five calendars in a headless browser and copied price, pieces, age mark, rating, order limit and stock from the visible page, and the contents from the Specifications text. On Oct 24 we opened the five pages and 40874 again and compared price, stock, rating and order limit. We opened the Customer Reviews of 75456 and 43298 and copied quotes with name and date. Stock history comes from our reads of lego.com's New list since Oct 10. We read LEGO's September 15 holiday newsroom post, Jay's Brick Blog's May and September posts, Brick Fanatics' August 23 City preview and the Tom's Guide and TechRadar roundups of October 16. Per day and per piece are our arithmetic, and a second pass compared every number with our source table.
