Biggest LEGO Sets Under $100: 12 for Adults by Piece Count

TL;DR: Buy one of the cats if you want the most model for $100; both are in stock. The Orange Cat (1,755 pieces) and Tuxedo Cat (1,710) cost $99.99 each. The biggest you can order after them is The Marvel Skyline on pre-order, then Wallace & Gromit on back order.

Biggest LEGO sets under $100 on lego.com: the 12 largest 18+ sets, from the 1,755-piece Orange Cat down, with stock on Oct 24, 2026. Three are sold out.

LEGO Ideas Orange Cat 21376 on a window seat and Tuxedo Cat 21349 on a round side table in a living room

Two cats top the list of biggest LEGO sets under $100 for adults: the Orange Cat costs the same $99.99 as the Tuxedo Cat and has 45 more pieces. That is the easy part; the harder one is stock, because three of the twelve biggest 18+ sets at $100 or less read Sold out on Oct 24.

How we picked: every product on lego.com's US Adults Welcome list, read on Oct 24 with Load More until it showed 223 of 223. We kept products marked 18+ with a list price of $100 or less (72 with a piece count), sorted them by pieces and opened the product page of the top 12. Sale prices on sets listed above $100 do not count. We haven't built these sets; build impressions below are quoted from builders who have.

Biggest LEGO sets under $100: the quick answer

The biggest LEGO sets for adults under $100 are 21376 Orange Cat (1,755 pieces) and 21349 Tuxedo Cat (1,710), both $99.99. After them come 10359 Fountain Garden (1,302, Sold out), 67006 The Marvel Skyline (1,261, pre-order) and 10340 Wreath (1,194, Sold out).

Key Takeaways

  • 12 sets, 14,093 pieces and $1,084.88 together at lego.com list prices on Oct 24.
  • Biggest: 21376 Orange Cat, 1,755 pieces, about 5.7 cents a piece.
  • Orderable: 9 of 12. Four are Available now, four ship later, one is a pre-order.
  • Sold out: 10359 Fountain Garden, 10340 Wreath and 10362 French Café.
  • Only 7 of the 72 adult sets at $100 or less reach 1,000 pieces.

Overview: how we built the list

lego.com does not sort by piece count, so we did it ourselves. We read all 223 products on the Adults Welcome list and kept the ones marked 18+ with a US list price at or under $100. That left 72 sets with a piece count. We then opened each of the top 12 product pages to copy the price, pieces, rating and the exact stock line.

Two rules shaped the list. First, the list price decides, not a sale: 10345 Flower Arrangement was $65.99 on Oct 24 but lists at $109.99, so it is out. Second, only 18+ sets count, which leaves out the 4,702-piece Mosaic Maker (more on that below). Price per piece is our arithmetic; you can check any set with our price-per-piece calculator.

Six of the seven biggest sets cost exactly $99.99. LEGO clearly knows where the line is.

1. 21376 Orange Cat ($99.99, 1,755 pieces)

The biggest adult set under $100 and the cheapest per piece of the twelve. New Elementary, covering the reveal, noted that it "is not a direct recolour of the Tuxedo Cat", with "45 more elements, at the same price". New Elementary gave its release date as March 1.

A lego.com reviewer named ibboc, who bought both cats, counted "each bag an average of 15 mins and 20 bags total" and called it "Not bad value for money - seen better, seen worse."

Pick for: the buyer who wants the most bricks for $100. Why: 1,755 pieces at about 5.7 cents each. The catch: 64 reviews so far, against the Tuxedo Cat's 413.

2. 21349 Tuxedo Cat ($99.99, 1,710 pieces)

The older twin, with the stronger track record: 4.8 stars from 413 reviews and 87% saying they would recommend it. It costs the same as the Orange Cat and gives you 45 fewer pieces.

Pick for: the cautious buyer. Why: the most-reviewed set on this list, at 5.8 cents a piece. The catch: if you own one cat, the second is mostly the same build in a new color.

3. 10359 Fountain Garden ($99.99, 1,302 pieces)

A square garden with a fountain, rated 4.8 from 42 reviews. It carried the Retiring soon badge and read Sold out on Oct 24, so lego.com could not sell it to you that day.

Pick for: a gardener, if it comes back. Why: 1,302 pieces at 7.7 cents. The catch: Sold out with the badge; our guide to whether sold out LEGO sets come back explains why we would not wait on it.

4. 67006 The Marvel Skyline ($99.99, 1,261 pieces)

A long, low skyline of Marvel's New York that you can pre-order now; lego.com says it ships from Jan 1. Graphic Policy reported the same price, piece count and date when LEGO revealed it on Oct 9. It has no reviews yet.

Pick for: a Marvel fan with patience. Why: the biggest set on the list you can still order after the cats. The catch: a January delivery and no reviews.

5. 10340 Wreath ($99.99, 1,194 pieces)

A Botanicals wreath, 4.6 from 105 reviews. It moved from Available now to Sold out in our reads on Oct 16 and still read Sold out on Oct 24, with the Retiring soon badge.

Pick for: nobody, today. Why: 8.4 cents a piece is fine. The catch: Sold out and badged, a bad combination for the holiday season.

6. 10362 French Café ($79.99, 1,101 pieces)

The cheapest set on the list to break 1,000 pieces, at $79.99. It read Sold out on Oct 24 but had no Retiring soon badge, which is a different situation from the two above.

Pick for: a café or modular fan who can check back. Why: 7.3 cents a piece. The catch: you cannot order it right now.

7. 21371 Wallace & Gromit ($99.99, 1,038 pieces)

Wallace and Gromit on their red motorbike and sidecar, rated 4.8 from 65 reviews. It can be ordered, but lego.com gave it a Nov 7 ship date on Oct 24.

LEGO Ideas Wallace and Gromit 21371: the pair on a red motorbike with a sidecar on a wooden shelf among plants and books Image: The LEGO Group (lego.com)

Desk note: this set's ship line moved four times in nine days in our reads: "Will ship by October 29" on Oct 15, "Will ship in 60 days" on Oct 16, "Will ship by November 1" on Oct 22 and November 7 on the Oct 24 product page. Order it if you want it, but do not promise it for a date.

Pick for: a Wallace & Gromit fan. Why: 4.8 stars and a New badge on lego.com. The catch: the dearest per piece on the list, 9.6 cents.

8. 21368 Peanuts: Snoopy's Doghouse ($89.99, 964 pieces)

Available now until Oct 20, then a back order with a Nov 5 ship date. On r/lego in May, before it came out, u/EChrisG wrote: "The Snoopy set hasn't been released, yet, but that looks great for the money."

Pick for: a Peanuts fan. Why: 964 pieces for $89.99. The catch: 4.4 stars, the joint-lowest rating of the twelve.

9. 21064 Paris ($79.99, 958 pieces)

An Architecture model of Paris, 4.7 from 40 reviews, shipping in 60 days on Oct 24. lego.com's full name for it adds "City of Love".

Pick for: a traveler's shelf. Why: 958 pieces at 8.3 cents for $79.99. The catch: a 60-day wait and a limit of 2. The rest of the theme, up to the Sagrada Família, is in our LEGO Architecture sets guide.

10. 10338 Bumblebee ($89.99, 950 pieces)

The Transformers Bumblebee, 4.5 from 215 reviews, and one of only four sets on the list that ship now.

Pick for: a Transformers fan who wants it this week. Why: Available now, 215 reviews. The catch: 9.5 cents a piece, near the top of the list.

11. 10313 Wildflower Bouquet ($59.99, 939 pieces)

The cheapest set on the list by far, and 6.4 cents a piece, the third-lowest of the twelve. It moved from Available now to "Will ship in 60 days" on Oct 22.

Pick for: the cheapest way onto this list. Why: 939 pieces for $59.99. The catch: a 60-day ship time in the busiest season.

12. 75375 Millennium Falcon ($84.99, 921 pieces)

The smaller Falcon, not the $849.99 one. It was Available now with 4.7 stars from 169 reviews.

Pick for: a Star Wars fan on a budget. Why: 921 pieces and in stock. The catch: 9.2 cents a piece, mid-table for this list.

Analysis: is the biggest set the best set under $100?

Piece count is a good first filter and a poor last one. u/mrkitster put it bluntly on r/lego:

"Piece count doesn’t necessarily equate to difficulty or quality."

Reddit, r/lego · Open the thread

Our numbers show why. The two cats lead on size and on price per piece, so for them the biggest and the best value are the same set. Further down, they split: Wildflower Bouquet is 11th by pieces but third-cheapest per piece, and Wallace & Gromit is seventh by pieces but the dearest per piece. If you care about cost per brick, sort by the per-piece column instead.

Stock matters more than either in late October. Only four of the twelve ship now, and two of the Sold out sets carry the Retiring soon badge. Our Retiring soon tracker shows every badged set's lego.com label.

Not on this list, and why

  • 40179 Mosaic Maker: 4,702 pieces for $79.99, by far the most per dollar on lego.com in this range, but it is marked 10+, has the Retiring soon badge and a limit of 1.
  • 10345 Flower Arrangement: 1,161 pieces and $65.99 on sale (40% off), but its list price is $109.99, so it is outside the $100 line by our rule.
  • Sets under 900 pieces: the list stops at 921. For picks by value and taste rather than size, see our best LEGO sets for adults under $100.

Our take

Buy the Orange Cat if size per dollar is the goal; it is the biggest and cheapest per piece. It gives 1,755 pieces at about 5.7 cents each and was Available now on Oct 24.

Buy now if you want it before the holidays: only four of the twelve ship today. Skip or wait if your pick is Sold out; Fountain Garden and Wreath also carry the Retiring soon badge.

What we don't know yet: whether Fountain Garden, Wreath and French Café come back, and when Wallace & Gromit's ship date settles. On our watchlist: these 12 product pages at each catalog read.

This take uses only the lego.com data and sources cited above, checked Oct 24, 2026.

How we checked this

On Oct 24 we read lego.com's US Adults Welcome list in a headless desktop browser until it showed all 223 products, parsed age, pieces and price from each tile, and opened the top 12 product pages plus 40179 for the exact price, rating and stock line. Status history comes from our own lego.com change log since Oct 10. We read New Elementary's Orange Cat report and Graphic Policy's Marvel Skyline report. Reddit comments come from the thread data through Arctic Shift. A second pass matched every number with our source table.
