The best LEGO Botanicals sets for adults are easier to choose once you see all of them in one table. On October 10, 2026, lego.com's Botanicals theme page listed 42 products, and 27 of them were building sets marked 18+. We compared all 27 on list price, pieces and price per piece, and checked which carry the Retiring soon badge. Six Botanicals sets do, five of them adult sets.

TL;DR: Most pieces for the money: 10281 Bonsai Tree ($49.99, about 5.7 cents a piece) and 10313 Wildflower Bouquet ($59.99, 6.4 cents). Best rose bouquet: 10328 Bouquet of Roses ($59.99, 822 pieces). Cheapest adult sets: four at $29.99. Retiring soon: 10280, 10340, 10345, 10309, 10370 and the 8+ 40725 Cherry Blossoms. Prices are lego.com US list prices, October 10, 2026.

Best LEGO Botanicals sets: the quick answer

Start with the Wildflower Bouquet if you want flowers, the Bonsai Tree if you want a plant, and Tiny Plants if you want a desk display of nine plants. All three cost $49.99 or $59.99 and sit near the top on price per piece. If you want one of the retiring sets, the Wreath and the Flower Arrangement are the largest builds in the theme, at 1,194 and 1,161 pieces.

Key Takeaways

  • 42 products, 39 sets, 27 for adults: the rest are two vases, a puzzle, nine 9+ sets and three 8+ sets.
  • Price bands: four adult sets at $29.99, seven at $49.99, ten at $59.99, and six from $64.99 to $99.99 (counting the Flower Arrangement at its $87.99 sale price; list $109.99).
  • Value: 17 of the 27 cost under 10 cents a piece. Bonsai Tree is lowest (5.7 cents), Hanging Golden Pothos highest (16.1 cents).
  • Retiring soon: 6 sets, including the two biggest adult builds. Only the Flower Arrangement was discounted, to $87.99 from $109.99.
  • Back order: Succulents, Poinsettia, Hibiscus and Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree were not shipping right away on October 10.

Overview: what is in the Botanicals theme

LEGO sells flowers and plants under one theme page, lego.com/themes/botanicals. Not every product on it has the same theme name on its own page: the Bonsai Tree's page says LEGO Icons, the Orchid and Flower Bouquet say Creator Expert, and the small 8+ sets say Other. We took every product on the theme page, dropped the two vases and the puzzle, and opened each set's product page to read price, pieces, age mark, stock and badges.

That leaves 27 sets marked 18+, the adult range this article compares. The other 12 are marked 8+ or 9+, from five $14.99 sets (120 to 430 pieces) up to the $49.99 Olivia Rodrigo's Flower Bouquet (400 pieces). The next one is Cozy Plants 10371, a 9+ set listed as Coming soon on November 1, 2026 at $22.99; our release calendar carries the date.

We have not built these sets. Opinions below are quoted from other builders, with links.

Bouquets: which $59.99 set to buy

Eight of the ten $59.99 adult sets are cut flowers, seven bouquets plus the Dark Flower Arrangement, so this is the most crowded choice in the theme. Pieces vary a lot at the same price: among those eight, from 939 in the Wildflower Bouquet to 562 in the Dark Flower Arrangement.

10313 Wildflower Bouquet (939 pieces) has the most, at 6.4 cents a piece, and a 4.8-star rating from 221 reviews. lego.com calls it "blooming with authentic details".

10328 Bouquet of Roses (822 pieces) is lego.com's "timeless gift of 12 roses from the LEGO Botanical Collection." It had 4.8 stars from 182 reviews. In a January 2024 r/lego thread about the set, u/ttvSharkieBait15 left a tip for anyone putting it in a vase: "you may want to consider permanently attaching the leaves that are connected to the 2 least bloomed roses".

10374 Bouquet of Pink Roses (789 pieces) had the best rating of the bouquets, 4.9 stars from 57 reviews. 10280 Flower Bouquet (756 pieces) is the retiring one; Brick Fanatics' unofficial list gives it July 31, 2026, yet lego.com still showed it Available now with a limit of 5 on October 10. That gap is a good reason to treat fan-site dates as estimates.

Planning to build one with someone? In an r/lego thread asking why the bouquets don't come with multiple instruction booklets, u/BitterOwl8470 replied: "I think those came out just before the recent push for multiple booklets so multiple people can build." The same reply points out that digital instructions are on LEGO's website.

Plants: Bonsai, Orchid or Tiny Plants

10281 Bonsai Tree ($49.99, 878 pieces) is the value pick of the whole theme at 5.7 cents a piece, with the most reviews of any Botanicals set we opened: 426, averaging 4.4 stars. It measures "over 7 in. (18 cm) high", per lego.com.

10329 Tiny Plants ($49.99, 758 pieces) is "an elegant floral display of 9 plants for your home or office desk", in lego.com's words, at 6.6 cents a piece and 4.7 stars from 170 reviews.

10311 Orchid ($49.99, 608 pieces) stands taller than the Bonsai Tree: lego.com says it "Measures over 15 in. (39 cm) high". It had 4.8 stars from 254 reviews. In an r/lego thread titled "I despise my Lego orchid", u/3MATX answered:

"I’d double check the build. Mines fairly sturdy, I have no problem picking it up by the base and moving it wherever."

The newer plant sets cost more per piece. The 10348 Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree ($59.99, 474 pieces) works out at 12.7 cents and was on back order. 11512 Hanging Golden Pothos ($59.99, 372 pieces) is the most expensive per piece of the 27 at 16.1 cents and had the lowest rating of the 27, 3.6 stars from 41 reviews.

Who Should Buy Which

If you are buying your first Botanicals set, the Bonsai Tree or the Wildflower Bouquet gives the most build for the money, and neither is retiring. Rose fans choose between the Bouquet of Roses and the Bouquet of Pink Roses; the first has more pieces and far more reviews (182 against 57). For a gift under $30, look at the four $29.99 sets, all marked 18+; our best LEGO sets for adults under $50 ranks them against the busts and cars at that price. If you already own a few and want a centrepiece, the Wreath and Flower Arrangement are the largest builds, and both are on the retiring list.

Our take

Based on the lego.com prices and pieces above, the Bonsai Tree and Wildflower Bouquet are the two adult Botanicals sets we would start with: both are near the top on value, have hundreds of lego.com reviews (426 and 221) and are not retiring. The Bouquet of Roses earns a place for its 12 roses rather than its numbers. We would leave the Hanging Golden Pothos and the Japanese Red Maple Bonsai Tree until last, since they have the two highest per-piece prices of the 27. If you want a retiring set, buy the Wreath or the Flower Arrangement before the holidays, and do not plan around fan-site dates: the Flower Bouquet was still on sale more than two months after its estimated date.

How we checked this

On October 10, 2026 we read lego.com's Botanicals theme page (42 products, two pages) in a desktop browser and opened every product page to copy price, discount, pieces, age mark, stock, order limit, rating and badges. Retirement estimates come from Brick Fanatics' list updated October 7, 2026, which we read on October 10, and are labelled as unofficial. Reddit quotes were copied from the thread data. Price per piece is our arithmetic. A second pass compared every number here with our source table.
