Botanical Garden vs Flower Arrangement: the quick answer

Buy the Botanical Garden if you want a large building with a story and figures, and have the space for it. Buy the Flower Arrangement if you want a centrepiece that looks like flowers and costs a quarter as much. On October 10, 2026 the Flower Arrangement was also the cheaper set per piece, because of its 20% discount.

What you build: a glasshouse or a bouquet

21353 The Botanical Garden. lego.com describes "a stunning, fan-inspired model of an elegant 19th century botanical garden structure", with "Striking 'glass' panels trimmed in an ornate design" around a central atrium. Its feature section names the plants inside, among them Coffea arabica, Acer palmatum, Eucalyptus pauciflora and an "Ice Cream" tulip. The page quotes its fan designer, Valentina Bima: "I wanted to create a visually light and welcoming structure, to 'frame' the plants and flowers housed inside of it."

10345 Flower Arrangement. The product page lists "camellia, peonies, hydrangeas, baby's breath, ranunculus, bouvardia and lilies", in "a unique brick-built chalice that can even accommodate other LEGO flower sets (sold separately)". lego.com also advertises "2 ways to build". The LEGO newsroom announcement gives its width as "over 12.5 in. (31 cm)".

Analysis: price, value and the retirement clock

The headline gap is price: $242 between them on October 10, 2026. Per piece the gap is small, and it runs the other way, because the Flower Arrangement was 20% off. At its $109.99 list price it would cost about 9.5 cents a piece, more than the Botanical Garden.

Both sets have the Retiring soon badge, and both were Available now. Brick Fanatics' October 2, 2026 update lists 21353 as "still scheduled to be retired by December 31, 2026". Its August 2026 update lists 10345 among the retiring Botanicals and says "these builds will wilt away by December". Those are fan-site readings; lego.com gives no date for either. For the full Ideas picture, see our LEGO Ideas sets retiring 2026 list, and for the badge itself, how to tell if a LEGO set is retiring.

The reviews we read lean positive on both. Jay's Brick Blog called 10345 "easily one of the best Botanical Collection sets since the theme began". On r/legomodular, in a February 2026 thread "Botanical Garden worth it?", u/Pauolo wrote:

"It's an amazing set, slightly overpriced (like all Ideas sets) but full of interesting builds."

In the same thread u/BraveArse added a space warning: "it needs more space than it's two baseplates to look right."

Our take

Based on the lego.com pages and reviews above, this is not a close call once you know what you want on the shelf. If you want a building with figures that sits next to a city layout, the Botanical Garden is the one, and at 8.7 cents a piece it is reasonable for an Ideas set. If you want flowers, the Flower Arrangement at $87.99 is the better buy, and the 20% discount makes it the cheaper of the two per piece. Both carry the badge and both were in stock on October 10, so neither needs a panic purchase today, but neither should be left until late December either.

How we checked this

On October 10, 2026 we opened both lego.com product pages in a desktop browser and copied price, discount, pieces, minifigures, badges, stock, order limits, ratings and the product descriptions. We read the LEGO newsroom post of November 2024 for the 10345 dates and width, Brick Fanatics' August and October 2026 updates, and Jay's Brick Blog's 10345 review the same day, and copied the Reddit comments from the thread data. Price per piece is our arithmetic. A second pass compared every number here with our source table.
