Overview: the nine Harry Potter sets with the badge

We read all three pages of lego.com's Harry Potter theme page from the page data on October 11 and again on October 16, 2026, then opened every flagged set's product page. On October 16 seven sets showed the badge in the listing. Two more, 76448 Fawkes and 76467 Luna Lovegood's House, were missing from the theme page but carried the badge on their own pages, Sold out. On October 17 we read lego.com's Retiring soon list and the product pages of the four Sold out sets again. The table shows that read.

Prices are lego.com US list prices, the same on October 17 as on October 11; stock is as of October 17, and cents per piece is our arithmetic on the list price. Two sets showed a lower price: 76470 at $63.99, 20% under list, and Fawkes at $16.09, 30% under list, next to Sold out. Every set you could order had a limit of 5 per order except the Thestral Family, limited to 2.

The two BrickHeadz with Harry Potter characters, 40791 The Goblet of Fire Figures ($49.99 list, $39.99 on sale on October 17, 671 pieces) and 40802 Luna Lovegood & Thestral Figures ($24.99, 292 pieces), carried Exclusives and Retiring soon labels. On October 17, 40791 was Available now and 40802 read Will ship in 60 days. They sit in the BrickHeadz theme on lego.com, so we count them separately.

The retiring Harry Potter sets to look at first

76437 The Burrow Collectors' Edition ($259.99, 2,405 pieces, 18+) is the only adult set on the list, and it was Sold out with the badge on October 11 and October 16. It had 4.7 stars from 158 reviews. One reviewer marked "Verified purchase", ForgivingHose072, wrote in September 2024: "I really enjoyed building this set, it’s much bigger than the Attack on The Burrow set I already have". lego.com showed no restock date. This page tracks badges, stock and dates; if you are choosing a Harry Potter display set, our Harry Potter sets for adults comparison covers all nine adult sets on price per piece, figures and stock.

76470 Enchanted Flying Ford Anglia ($79.99, 868 pieces, 14+) is the best value per piece among the sets you can still order, at about 9.2 cents at list price. At the $63.99 sale price it showed on October 16, that drops to 7.4 cents. The page lists "Brick-built Ron Weasley™ and Harry Potter™ figures, plus Hedwig™." It is also young: Brick Fanatics dates its release to January 1, 2026 and expects it to retire on December 31, 2026, the same calendar year. JosephN, who received the set free from LEGO, wrote: "This is definitely not something that I would suggest a child putting together themselves".

76452 Quality Quidditch Supplies & Ice Cream Parlour ($99.99, 795 pieces, 8+) is the Diagon Alley shop pair on the list, with 4.7 stars from 23 reviews. It read Sold out in our October 15 catalog check and Available now on October 16. Not every buyer found it good value. Rozella, rating it 4 stars in February 2026, wrote: "It’s also a little on the small side for the price". At 12.6 cents a piece, it is one of the dearer sets here.

76458 Thestral Family ($69.99, 548 pieces, 10+) is the one with the tightest order limit, 2 per order, while every other orderable set allowed 5.

Analysis: what happened to Brick Fanatics' July sets

Brick Fanatics, a fan site, keeps the most-used list of expected retirement dates. Its page, last updated October 13, 2026, puts 18 Harry Potter sets in 2026: seven under "Retires July 31, 2026" and eleven under "Retires December 31, 2026". In March it wrote that "Seven other sets are leaving shelves this summer too" and that "Another 11 LEGO Harry Potter sets are then destined to retire by December". We opened all 18 on lego.com on October 11 and again on October 16.

The July group is finished on lego.com:

• Sold out, no badge: 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors' Edition ($429.99), 76453 Malfoy Manor ($149.99), 76443 Hagrid & Harry's Motorcycle Ride ($49.99) and 76425 Hedwig at 4 Privet Drive ($19.99 list, $13.99 shown).
• Retired Product: 76435 Hogwarts Castle: The Great Hall and 76429 Talking Sorting Hat.
• Sold out with the badge: 76448 Fawkes, the only July set still marked Retiring soon.

Brick Fanatics had already said in March that Gringotts was "already sold out in some regions". None of the seven July sets could be ordered on lego.com on October 17.

The December group is where the badge matters. Eight of its eleven sets have the badge. Three do not: 76445 Hogwarts Castle: Herbology Class ($49.99) and 76447 Hogwarts Castle: Flying Lessons ($79.99) were Available now with no badge, and 76449 Chomping Monster Book of Monsters was Sold out with no badge. A fan-site date without the badge is a forecast; the badge is lego.com's own signal. Our Disney retiring list found the same pattern for Disney: its July group was off sale by October, and one set with a fan-site date had no badge.

Several badged sets are less than two years old. Brick Fanatics dates 76467 Luna Lovegood's House and 76470 to January 1, 2026, and five others to June 1, 2025. The oldest badged set is The Burrow, dated September 1, 2024.

Our take

Based on the lego.com pages and the Brick Fanatics groups above, the Harry Potter retirements that still need a decision are the five you can order. The Ford Anglia is the strongest of them: Available now, on sale at $63.99 on October 17, the best value per piece and marked 14+, so it suits an older fan or an adult display shelf. If you want The Burrow, lego.com had it sold out with no restock date, so the only thing to do there is check the product page. Luna's House shows how fast it goes: on a 60-day ship date on October 11, Sold out by October 16. Stock also comes back: Aunt Marge's Visit, on a ship-by date on October 16, read Available now on October 17. For a gift under $100 that is not leaving, our LEGO gifts for adults guide picks one set per budget. We will re-check badges and stock every 14 days through December.

How we checked this

On October 11, 2026 we read all three pages of lego.com's Harry Potter theme from the page data and opened the product pages of the nine badged sets, the two Harry Potter BrickHeadz, and every other set in Brick Fanatics' July and December 2026 Harry Potter groups, copying price, pieces, age, stock, order limit and badges. We opened the Customer Reviews sections of 76437, 76450, 76452 and 76470 and copied the quotes with the reviewer's name, date and whether they received the set free. On October 16 we read the theme page and all 20 product pages again and re-read the quotes on 76437, 76452 and 76470. On October 17 we read all 11 pages of lego.com's Retiring soon list. It carries the five orderable badged sets and both BrickHeadz. We also opened the product pages of the four Sold out badged sets and Brick Fanatics' other nine sets again. That evening we read the theme page and all 20 product pages once more. We read Brick Fanatics' retiring page (updated October 7, re-read on October 16 and 17 in its October 13 version with the same Harry Potter groups) and its March 23, 2026 Harry Potter article for the date groups and release dates. Totals and cents per piece are our arithmetic, and a second pass compared every number with our source table.
