LEGO Harry Potter Hogsmeade Village Collectors' Edition 76457: a long snowy street of shops with minifigures and a sleigh in front

LEGO Harry Potter sets for adults are a short list: of the 52 products on lego.com's Harry Potter theme page on October 10, 2026, seven were marked 16+ or 18+. Two more adult sets still have product pages but cannot be bought: Gringotts is sold out and the Hogwarts Express is retired. We compared all nine on price, pieces, figures and stock, and checked which ones are on their way out.

TL;DR: Best value: 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds ($169.99, about 6.4 cents a piece, but temporarily out of stock) and 76444 Diagon Alley ($199.99, 7.3 cents). Biggest: 71043 Hogwarts Castle ($469.99, 6,020 pieces, 16+). Newest: 76476 The Ministry of Magic ($449.99). Retiring soon and sold out: 76437 The Burrow ($259.99). Prices are lego.com US list prices, October 10, 2026.

LEGO Harry Potter sets for adults: the quick answer

On a budget, pick Diagon Alley: it was Available now at $199.99 for 2,750 pieces. For figures, Hogsmeade Village (12 minifigures) and The Ministry of Magic (14) are the Collectors' Editions you can still order. For the biggest model, 71043 Hogwarts Castle. If you want the Burrow, lego.com had it marked both Retiring soon and Sold out, so all you can do there is check back; the page showed no restock date.

Overview: how we built the list

We read all 52 products on lego.com's Harry Potter theme page and kept those marked 16+ or 18+. We then opened each product page for price, pieces, figures, stock and badges, and added the two adult Collectors' Editions that no longer appear on the theme page. Release details come from the LEGO newsroom. Retirement dates come only from a fan site, Brick Fanatics, and are labelled as unofficial. You can check any of these sets in our price-per-piece calculator.

We have not built these sets. Opinions below are quoted from other builders, with links.

The sets, one by one

1. 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds ($169.99, 2,660 pieces). The cheapest per piece of the nine, and lego.com sells it as "the first LEGO® brick model of the Hogwarts™ Castle and Grounds". It was Temporarily out of stock on October 10, with a Notify When in Stock button. It had 4.7 stars from 192 reviews.

2. 76444 Diagon Alley Wizarding Shops ($199.99, 2,750 pieces). The value pick you could order that day: Available now, limit 5, 12 microfigures, 4.7 stars from 80 reviews.

3. 71043 Hogwarts Castle ($469.99, 6,020 pieces). The biggest of the nine, marked 16+ rather than 18+, with 4 minifigures and 27 microfigures. It had the most reviews of the nine, 420, at 4.7 stars.

4. 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank ($429.99, 4,801 pieces). Sold out on lego.com and no longer on the theme page. Brick Fanatics' unofficial list gave it a July 31, 2026 retirement. One commenter who owns every Collectors' Edition still ranks it first. On r/legoharrypotter, in a thread called "Opinions on the Burrow", u/TheMostUnclean wrote in September 2025:

"If you’re willing to spend the $430 (usd) on Gringotts, I say go for that. It checks all the boxes for an awesome set"

5. 76437 The Burrow ($259.99, 2,405 pieces). The Weasley house, with 10 minifigures. lego.com showed Retiring soon, Exclusives and Sold out on October 10; it had 4.7 stars from 158 reviews. It went on sale in September 2024: the LEGO newsroom gave Insiders access from September 1 and everyone from September 4, at $259.99. The same commenter, who wrote "I have every collectors edition set", called it "my second favorite after Gringotts", and u/Magic_mayhem21 wrote: "I personally think it was 100% worth it. It’s one of my favorite sets I’ve ever owned".

6. 76466 Sorcerer's Stone ($169.99, 1,571 pieces). The smallest Collectors' Edition, and lego.com says: "Build the first LEGO® Hedwig™ figure with closed wings." Available now with a limit of 3.

7. 76457 Hogsmeade Village ($399.99, 3,228 pieces). 12 minifigures. The LEGO newsroom gave it Insiders early access from September 1, 2025 and general sale from September 4, 2025. Its lego.com rating was lower than most, 4.3 stars from 65 reviews. In the r/legoharrypotter thread on its reveal, u/-Darkslayer wrote: "No secret passage is really disappointing".

8. 76476 The Ministry of Magic ($449.99, 3,491 pieces). The newest set and the most expensive per piece. The LEGO newsroom lists 14 minifigures and a size of "over 20 in. (51 cm) high, 13.5 in. (35 cm) wide". It was the lowest-rated of the nine on October 10, at 3.8 stars from 20 reviews.

Analysis: which adult sets you can still buy for display

For a shelf, the question on October 10, 2026 was stock. Five of the nine could be ordered on lego.com: 76444 Diagon Alley, 71043 Hogwarts Castle, 76466 Sorcerer's Stone, 76457 Hogsmeade Village and 76476 The Ministry of Magic. 76419 Hogwarts Castle and Grounds was temporarily out of stock, 76417 Gringotts and 76437 The Burrow were sold out, and 76405 Hogwarts Express is retired. The Burrow is the only one of the nine with lego.com's Retiring soon badge; our guide on how to tell if a LEGO set is retiring explains what that badge means, and our Retiring soon tracker follows it.

For the rest, Brick Fanatics' list updated October 7, 2026 gives December 31, 2027 for 71043, 76419, 76444, 76457 and 76466, and has no date for 76476. Those are fan-site estimates; lego.com shows no badge on any of them.

Our take

Based on the lego.com prices and pieces above, Diagon Alley is the adult Harry Potter set we would buy first: it was in stock, it is the second-cheapest per piece, and it costs $199.99. If Hogwarts Castle and Grounds comes back in stock, it is the better value at $169.99. Among the Collectors' Editions you can still order, Hogsmeade Village gives about twice the pieces of the Sorcerer's Stone, but at 12.4 cents a piece it is not cheap, and the Ministry of Magic is dearer still. The Burrow is the one with a clock on it; with the page showing Sold out, all you can do on lego.com is check back.

How we checked this

On October 10, 2026 we read all 52 products on lego.com's Harry Potter theme page in a desktop browser and opened the product pages of the seven 16+ and 18+ sets, plus 76417 and 76405, to copy price, pieces, figures, stock, order limits, ratings and badges. We read the LEGO newsroom posts for the Burrow (August 2024), Hogsmeade Village (August 2025) and the Ministry of Magic (August 2026), The Brick Fan's launch reports, and Brick Fanatics' retirement list updated October 7, 2026, all on October 10. Reddit quotes were copied from the thread data. Price per piece is our arithmetic. A second pass compared every number here with our source table.
