LEGO Speed Champions sets retiring 2026 now include the whole Formula 1 grid. On October 10, 2026 all ten F1 cars LEGO made for the 2024 season carried lego.com's Retiring soon badge, and so did the 2026 Audi Revolut R26. Two non-F1 sets had the badge too. We opened all thirteen product pages to see what you can still order.

TL;DR: 13 Speed Champions sets had the Retiring soon badge on lego.com on October 10, 2026: the ten 2024 F1 cars (77242 to 77251, $26.99 list each), 77259 Audi R26 ($27.99) and two older cars. Available now: 77246, 77248, 77249, 77251, 77259. Back order: 77242, 77243, 77244. Sold out: 77245, 77247, 77250, 76924, 76921. LEGO gives no date.

Key Takeaways

  • The F1 grid is leaving. All ten 2024 F1 cars and the 2026 Audi R26 show the badge.
  • Five F1 cars were Available now, three on a 60-day back order, and three Sold out: Aston Martin AMR24, KICK Sauber C44 and Haas VF-24.
  • You cannot complete the 2024 grid on lego.com. It could sell seven of the ten, $188.93 at list price.
  • Two F1 cars are marked 18+, 77243 Red Bull RB20 and 77246 VCARB 01; the other nine F1 cars are 10+.
  • Non-F1: 76924 Mercedes-AMG G 63 & SL 63 and 76921 Audi S1 e-tron quattro, both badged and Sold out.

What Happened

LEGO does not announce retirements. It adds a Retiring soon badge to the product page, and on October 10, 2026 the badge was on all thirteen sets below. The Speed Champions theme listing showed 28 products over two pages, 11 of them badged. 77247 and 76921 were badged on their own pages but missing from the theme listing.

Prices are lego.com US list prices as of October 10, 2026. The ten 2024 cars come to $269.90 and 2,601 pieces, about 10.4 cents a piece; 77259 is the dearest per piece at 13 cents. In our read of the product data on lego.com's Retiring soon page on October 10, the only Speed Champions sets were the eight F1 cars you can still order. The five Sold out sets kept the badge on their own pages but were not on it.

The 2024 cars share one line on their product pages: each car competed in the 2024 Formula 1 season, with small differences in wording. 77259 is different. Its page says "Own a LEGO® model of the new team joining the Formula 1® lineup in 2026", and Brick Fanatics reported in January that it would "launch on March 1, retailing at £22.99 in the UK, $27.99 in the US." The 77247 page even has an add-on block titled "Complete the grid", next to a Sold out label.

Why It Matters

The dates were known; the stock was not. Brick Fanatics wrote on February 5, 2026 that "every remaining March 2025 release is scheduled to retire by the end of 2026, along with this year’s 77259 Audi Revolut F1 Team R26." Its main retiring page, updated October 7, lists nine of the 2024 cars and the Audi for December 31, 2026. 77247 KICK Sauber is on neither Brick Fanatics list, yet lego.com still showed it with the badge, Sold out at 40% off. A fan-site date is an estimate. The badge is lego.com's own signal, and by the time we read it, three of the ten cars had already sold out.

Collectors aimed for the full set. The F1 line was built around the grid: LEGO's newsroom said on May 4, 2025 that its ten drivable big-build cars at the Miami Grand Prix were "representing every team on the grid" and "based on the LEGO F1 Speed Champions range unveiled late last year." In a July 2025 r/SpeedChampions thread, u/nothingnanners wrote: "I already have 4/10 cars. I was waiting till the less popular teams went on sale before I snagged the rest of them." On lego.com that wait now ends at seven of ten.

The fan forecasts were too late. In the same thread u/ShadowBallX expected the KICK Sauber C44 to go at the end of 2025 and "the rest are set to be retired in 2027 (although that is easily subject to change)". It changed. u/equlizer3087 called it:

"I feel like they will be dropped sooner than 2027. They made way too many of them, every where I go has an endcap full of them."

u/Castabluestone added that "the big box stores will clearance most of them out in their post-Christmas clearances." That was a guess in July 2025, but it is a reminder that Speed Champions is sold well beyond lego.com.

The 2026 car goes early. 77259 had been on sale for about seven months when we saw the badge. In the 2025 thread, u/Jakelshark noted the grid change ahead: "Yeah Sauber becomes Audi next year, and Cadillac joins as a brand new team." The Audi set followed; we found no Cadillac set on the theme listing on October 10.

What stays. Brick Fanatics expects 77252 APXGP Team Race Car and 77258 F1 ACADEMY LEGO Race Car to stay into 2027. Non-F1 cars such as 77239 Porsche 911 GT3 RS ($26.99, 348 pieces) and 77254 Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale ($27.99, 339 pieces) had no badge on October 10. Two cars Brick Fanatics dated to July 31, 2026, 76934 Ferrari F40 and 76917 2 Fast 2 Furious Nissan Skyline GT-R, were Sold out with no badge.

Our take

Based on the lego.com pages and the Brick Fanatics dates above, if you want any of the LEGO Speed Champions sets retiring 2026 from lego.com, order the five Available now F1 cars first: 77251 McLaren, 77249 Williams, 77248 Alpine, 77246 VCARB 01 and 77259 Audi. The three on back order can still be ordered, with a 60-day ship estimate. For Aston Martin, KICK Sauber and Haas, lego.com had nothing to sell on October 10, so a complete grid now depends on other stores. If you want a car that is not leaving, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS and Ferrari SF90 had no badge. We will re-check badges and stock every 14 days through December. The same badge check across every theme is in our LEGO sets retiring in 2026 list.

How we checked this

On October 10, 2026 we opened the lego.com US product pages of all thirteen badged Speed Champions sets, plus 76917, 76934, 77239, 77254 and 77257 for comparison, and both pages of the Speed Champions theme listing, copying price, pieces, age, badges, stock text and order limits. We read Brick Fanatics' February 5 Speed Champions retiring list, its January 21 Audi R26 report and its main retiring page (updated October 7), and LEGO's May 4, 2025 newsroom release. Reddit comments were copied from the thread data. Totals and price per piece are our arithmetic, and a second pass compared every number with our source table.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the LEGO Speed Champions F1 cars retiring? Yes. On October 10, 2026 all ten 2024 F1 cars, 77242 to 77251, and the 2026 Audi Revolut R26 77259 showed lego.com's Retiring soon badge. LEGO gives no date. Brick Fanatics lists nine of them and the Audi for December 31, 2026, an unofficial estimate based on its own reporting.

Which LEGO F1 cars can I still buy on lego.com? On October 10, 2026, five were Available now: 77246 VCARB 01, 77248 Alpine A524, 77249 Williams FW46, 77251 McLaren MCL38 and 77259 Audi R26. 77242 Ferrari, 77243 Red Bull and 77244 Mercedes were on back order, shipping in 60 days. 77245 Aston Martin, 77247 KICK Sauber and 77250 Haas were Sold out.

How much does the full LEGO F1 grid cost? The ten 2024 cars list at $26.99 each on lego.com, $269.90 for all ten, as of October 10, 2026. Adding 77259 Audi R26 at $27.99 makes $297.89. Three of the ten were Sold out that day, so lego.com could sell you at most seven 2024 cars plus the Audi.

Is the LEGO Audi R26 77259 retiring already? Its lego.com page showed Retiring soon on October 10, 2026, Available now at $27.99 for 216 pieces, limit 3. Brick Fanatics gives its release date as March 1, 2026 and dates its retirement to December 31, 2026 with the other F1 cars, so it would be on sale for about ten months.

Which other Speed Champions sets are retiring? Two non-F1 sets had the badge on October 10, 2026, both Sold out: 76924 Mercedes-AMG G 63 & Mercedes-AMG SL 63 ($44.99, 808 pieces) and 76921 Audi S1 e-tron quattro ($26.99 list, shown at $18.89). 76934 Ferrari F40 and 76917 Nissan Skyline were Sold out with no badge.
