LEGO Botanicals 2027: Wild Orchid, Peony and Six $4.99 Sets

The four 18+ sets: what LEGO says is new

11519 Wild Orchid: an orchid on a branch, not in a pot

LEGO built "the rare Vanda coerulea orchid" on a mossy branch, with its aerial roots showing. The release says the set brings "new printed petal elements" to copy the real petals. It measures over 30 cm (11.5 in.) high and 34 cm (13 in.) wide. Of the four, it is the one that looks least like a vase of flowers.

11515 Peony Bouquet: dinosaur eggs as buds

The peonies come as single and semi-double blooms plus buds, in ombré peach, pale pink and deep pink. LEGO's release has the best parts trivia of the wave: "The peony branches feature bright green LEGO dinosaur eggs, which turned out to work perfectly as small buds!" The longest stem is over 41 cm (16.5 in.).

11516 Cherry Blossom Branches: crowns for buds

White flowers and pink buds sit on branches in what LEGO calls "an ocean-blue vase", over 21 cm (8 in.) high. For the buds and flower centers, LEGO says it used "LEGO minifigure crowns in new colours." The lego.com listing files the set in a "Blossoms Series" of home decor pieces.

11522 Perfectly Pastel Flower Bouquet: 16 stems, one beehive

This bouquet has 16 stems, "including roses, coneflowers, columbines, anemones and pincushion flowers", and the stems can be lengthened or shortened. LEGO hid "a LEGO beehive element" inside the cone of one flower. It stands over 40 cm (15 in.) tall. Of the ten sets, it is the only one dated February 1.

Wild Orchid opens to LEGO Insiders on January 1

LEGO's release gives Wild Orchid two dates: "LEGO Insiders* Early Access: 1 January 2027" and "For all: 4 January 2027". The lego.com page matches. It reads Coming soon on January 4, 2027, and its page data carries the early-access flag. Of the ten product pages we read, Wild Orchid's is the only one with that flag set.

The release adds that Wild Orchid is sold "exclusively via LEGO.com and LEGO Stores". The Perfectly Pastel Flower Bouquet goes to "standard retailers" from February 1. The release has no opening time for any of them. Our guide to LEGO Insiders early access has the start times lego.com page data showed for the 2026 launches.

Six $4.99 spring flowers sets, the cheapest sets on lego.com's flower page

The six small sets are 11532 Buttercup, 11533 Malva, 11534 Bluebell, 11535 Sweet Pea, 11536 Nasturtium and 11537 Chicory. Each is $4.99 and marked 8+, with 56 to 78 pieces. Their lego.com pages put them at 19 to 24 cm (7.5 to 9.5 in.) tall. The Buttercup and Chicory pages say each builds two stems.

Apart from these six, the cheapest sets on the flower page on Nov 7 were five at $14.99: Cosmos Flowers, Cherry Blossoms, Sunflowers, Daisies and Roses. The six new ones cost a third of that. They even undercut LEGO's own $9.99 vases.

They are meant as add-ons. The Buttercup page calls itself part of the "LEGO® Botanicals spring flowers collection" and suggests you "arrange them with other sets from the collection". Per piece they run from 6.4 cents (Buttercup, 78 pieces) to 8.9 cents (Malva, 56 pieces). For more small sets you can buy before January, see our best LEGO sets under $25.

Two commenters on Jay's Brick Blog picked up on them. Cora wrote on Nov 7: "I especially like the cheap flowers to round out any bouquet or add a splash of color to a desk." The same day, Snowy_Tabbert said "the new Botanicals Spring Flowers seem to be more expensive in Oceania." Jay's lists them at AU$7.99, against US$4.99.

How the new LEGO Botanicals 2027 sets compare with sets you can order now

Price per piece is where the new $59.99 sets look ordinary. The table below has the nine 18+ sets already listed at $59.99 on lego.com's flower page, read Nov 7, with the three new ones in bold.

The new trio lands in the middle. Five bouquets that showed Add to Bag on Nov 7 have more pieces than any of the three. The Wildflower Bouquet has 939, which is 289 more than the Pastel bouquet at the same price.

Wild Orchid also loses on paper to an orchid lego.com already sells. 10311 Orchid costs $49.99 for 608 pieces, so Wild Orchid asks $10 more for two fewer pieces. But on Nov 7 the 10311 page read Will ship in 60 days.

Cherry Blossom Branches comes out better. Its 405 pieces are the most of the five 18+ sets at $29.99; Mini Orchid, Chrysanthemum, Lucky Bamboo and Plum Blossom have 274 to 327. The 8+ set 40725 Cherry Blossoms has 430 pieces for $14.99, and it carries lego.com's Retiring soon badge. Our LEGO Botanicals retiring list tracks it with the other badged sets.

Piece count also misses the new parts LEGO points to, such as printed orchid petals, minifigure crowns in new colours and a beehive in a coneflower.

Should you wait for LEGO Botanicals 2027 or buy now?

Wait for Wild Orchid if you want a plant scene rather than a vase of flowers. None of the nine $59.99 sets already listed on the page is an orchid. If you're an Insider, January 1 is your day.

Buy now if you want the $59.99 bouquet with the most pieces. Of the $59.99 sets in the table, that is the Wildflower Bouquet, 939 pieces (6.4 cents each), and its page read Available now on Nov 7. Our best LEGO Botanicals sets for adults ranks it with the rest of the theme.

None of the ten has a date before January 1, so for a December gift, skip the whole wave. If pieces per dollar decide it, the badged 10345 Flower Arrangement beats every $59.99 set in the table. It was $65.99 on Nov 7, 40% off $109.99, for 1,161 pieces, or 5.7 cents a piece. Our list of LEGO retiring sets on sale has the rest of the discounts, and our LEGO gifts for adults list covers other budgets.

The $4.99 sets are the easy call. If you already own a bouquet, add one or two in January for color.

We haven't built any of these sets. We read LEGO's release, all ten product pages and the full flower page on lego.com US on Nov 7, plus the posts on Jay's Brick Blog and The Brick Fan.
