LEGO Sonic Sets Retiring 2026: All 6 With Prices and Stock

LEGO Sonic sets retiring 2026 are six sets on lego.com, and the hardest one to buy is no longer the biggest. On October 24, 2026, the 77006 Team Sonic Command Truck, Sold out on October 11, was Available now again with the badge, while 77118 and its first Silver minifigure stayed Sold out. Three of the six could be ordered. The two newest Sonic sets, which Brick Fanatics reported as launched at the start of August 2026, had no badge.

LEGO Sonic sets retiring 2026: the quick answer

Six sets, $214.94 together at list price and 2,068 pieces. lego.com's Sonic the Hedgehog theme page listed 11 products on October 11, Oct 23 and Oct 24: nine building sets and two key chains. Our Sonic theme hub groups the theme's sets by status.

Key Takeaways

• Two badged sets ship now: 77006 Team Sonic Command Truck ($69.99) and 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash ($19.99) were Available now on Oct 24.
• One is Sold out, two Temporarily out of stock: 77118 Silver's Car vs. Knuckles' Monster Truck, 77005 Knuckles vs. Dr. Eggman Egg Crusher Mech and, since Oct 24, 77117 Sonic: Speedster Lightning.
• The Silver set is the one fans flag: lego.com says 77118 has Silver as a minifigure "for the first time".
• The newest sets have no badge: 77119 Tails' Tornado-1 and 77120 Shadow's Mech vs. G.U.N. Trooper, both marked New on lego.com.
• The end-of-theme talk is a rumour: Brick Fanatics reported it on August 3, 2026 and called for "a pinch of salt".

Overview: the 6 LEGO Sonic sets with the badge

We read the Sonic theme page from its page data on October 11, 2026 and opened every flagged product page, copying price, pieces, age mark, rating and stock from the visible page. On Oct 23 we read the theme page and all six product pages again; the rating column is that day's. On Oct 24 we read the theme page once more: same badges and prices, and 77117 had moved to Temporarily out of stock. The stock column is Oct 24's.

Prices are lego.com US list prices, the same on October 11, Oct 23 and Oct 24, and none showed a discount. Cents per piece is our arithmetic. On Oct 23 the four sets you could then order had a limit of 5 per order.

Desk note: Our lego.com tracker shows how much the Sonic stock moved in 12 days. 77117 went from shipping by October 22 to Available now on Oct 16 and to 60 days on Oct 21. 77005 went from 60 days to Sold out on Oct 21 and to Temporarily out of stock on Oct 23. 77006 came back onto the Retiring soon page on Oct 22. The badge stayed on all six.

The Command Truck is back; the Silver set is not

Can you still buy the Command Truck or the Silver set? On October 11, 2026 neither: both showed Sold out with the badge. By Oct 23 lego.com had restocked the Command Truck, which read Available now, badge on. The Silver set still read Sold out.

77006 Team Sonic Command Truck was the theme's biggest set by pieces, 747 at $69.99. lego.com lists a launchable ATV, a movable stud launcher and five figures: "Sonic, Tails, Metal Sonic, Burrobot and Caterkiller". Jay's Brick Blog reviewed it in July 2025 and called it "one of the more fun and interesting Sonic sets to date", with one catch: "this set doesn't feature any new or updated character minifigures."

77118 Silver's Car vs. Knuckles' Monster Truck is the set collectors will miss. lego.com lists its two minifigures as "Knuckles and, for the first time, Silver." It cost $39.99 for 378 pieces.

The other four: back order and out of stock

On Oct 24, 77002 Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic ($29.99) read "Will ship in 60 days", while 77005 Knuckles vs. Dr. Eggman Egg Crusher Mech ($44.99) and 77117 Sonic: Speedster Lightning ($9.99) read Temporarily out of stock; 77117 had been on the 60-day line the day before. On October 11, 77005 and 77002 were on the 60-day back order and 77117 shipped by October 22. 77001 Sonic's Campfire Clash ($19.99) was Available now on all three days.

The Egg Crusher Mech pairs Knuckles with Dr. Eggman, and lego.com adds a hoverboard, catapult and boulders. A lego.com reviewer, TheBrickHank47, explained the appeal on February 24, 2026: "this is the only set to get the two of them together (which is why I bought it)."

77002 Cyclone vs. Metal Sonic puts Tails' Cyclone mech against Metal Sonic. lego.com says you can "Rotate the legs and raise or lower the turret for flight", and its 25 reviews average 4.9.

Speedster Lightning is the cheapest building set in the theme at $9.99, with a Sonic minifigure, a race car, a Chaos Emerald and three Gold Rings. AnimatedFly097 wrote on January 6, 2026: "This set is affordable, has a new expression for Sonic, and is based on one of my favorite Kart racers!"

Analysis: is LEGO Sonic ending?

Is LEGO Sonic being discontinued? LEGO has not said so, and the two newest sets carried no badge on Oct 24. A rumour says the theme gets no new sets in the first half of 2027, but the site that reported it treats it as unconfirmed.

Brick Fanatics wrote on August 3, 2026: "It's rumoured that both Sonic the Hedgehog and Animal Crossing will receive no new sets in the first half of 2027." Its own advice: "Take the rumour of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog and Animal Crossing's end with a pinch of salt for now, until officially announced otherwise."

The sets without the badge on Oct 24 were:

Stonewars reported in May 2026 that 77119 and 77120 would "go on sale on August 1, 2026 at LEGO.com", and Brick Fanatics' August 3 report pointed readers to "both lines' brand new sets launched over the weekend, including the nostalgic 77119 Tails' Tornado-1." Brick Fanatics' retiring page, last updated October 7, 2026, lists both for July 31, 2027, and all six badged sets for December 31, 2026. It dates 77003 to July 31, 2026; lego.com showed it Sold out without the badge and at 30 percent off. Those dates are fan-site estimates. If you want a Sonic set that is not yet on the way out, the August pair is the better bet: no badge on lego.com and a later fan-site date. For another video game theme with badged sets this autumn, see our Fortnite retiring list.

Our take

Buy the Command Truck now if it is the Sonic set you want; it is back in stock for the first time in our reads. It is the biggest badged Sonic set, 747 pieces at 9.4 cents a piece, and it read Sold out on October 11 before returning on Oct 22. 77001 is the other badged set shipping straight away; 77117, at $9.99 the cheapest Sonic building set on lego.com, went Temporarily out of stock on Oct 24.

Buy now if a fan wants the Command Truck or the Campfire Clash. Skip or wait if you are after 77118 and its first Silver minifigure, the Knuckles and Dr. Eggman mech or the $9.99 Speedster Lightning: lego.com offered no way to order them on Oct 24.

What we don't know yet: whether 77005 and 77117 come back from Temporarily out of stock before the badge comes off, and whether the 2027 rumour is true; LEGO hasn't said. On our watchlist: we re-check badges and stock every 14 days through December.

This take uses only the lego.com data and sources cited above, checked Oct 24, 2026.

How we checked this

On October 11, 2026 we read lego.com's Sonic the Hedgehog theme page from its page data and opened the product pages of the six badged sets and 77003, copying price, pieces, age mark, rating, order limit, stock and badge from the visible page and the contents from the Features section; 77119 and 77120 come from the theme page data. We read the Customer Reviews of 77005 and 77117 and copied quotes with name and date. We read Jay's Brick Blog's 77006 review, Brick Fanatics' August 3, 2026 rumour report and its retiring page, and Stonewars' May 2026 report on 77119 and 77120. On October 23 we read the theme page and the seven product pages again, found both quoted reviews still on lego.com, took the stock history from our tracker's change log and re-read the Brick Fanatics page (updated October 13; no Sonic date had changed). On October 24 we read the theme page again in a headless browser and compared badge, price and stock for all 11 products. Totals and cents per piece are our arithmetic, and a second pass compared every number with our source table.
