Nothing has sold out yet among the LEGO Animal Crossing sets retiring 2026: all three were still easy to buy on October 24, 2026, two weeks after we first checked. lego.com showed the Retiring soon badge on 77056 Blathers's Museum Collection, 77058 Goldie's Cozy House and 77053 Stargazing with Celeste, each Available now at full price. Two older sets were already sold out without the badge, and the newest set, marked New on lego.com, had none.

LEGO Animal Crossing sets retiring 2026: the quick answer

Three sets, $112.97 together at list price and 770 pieces. lego.com's Animal Crossing theme page listed six sets on October 11 and the same six on Oct 24. Our Animal Crossing theme hub groups them by status.

Key Takeaways

  • The museum has the badge: 77056 Blathers's Museum Collection, the theme's biggest set on lego.com at 543 pieces and $79.99.
  • All three badged sets ship now: every one read Available now on Oct 24; on Oct 11 each had a limit of 5.
  • Two sets are gone already: 77054 Leif's Caravan & Garden Shop and 77055 Able Sisters Clothing Shop were Sold out, with no badge.
  • The newest set has no badge: 77059 Timmy & Tommy's Fun Day Out, $59.99, marked New on lego.com.
  • End-of-theme talk is a rumour: Brick Fanatics reported it on August 3, 2026 with "a pinch of salt".

Overview: the 3 LEGO Animal Crossing sets with the badge

We read the Animal Crossing theme page from its page data on October 11, 2026 and opened the product page of every badged set, copying price, pieces, age mark, rating and stock from the visible page. On Oct 24 we read the theme page again: same badges, prices and stock. Ratings are the Oct 11 counts.

SetPricePiecesAgeCents per pieceRating (reviews)lego.com stock
77056 Blathers's Museum Collection$79.995437+14.74.9 (26)Available now
77058 Goldie's Cozy House$22.991496+15.44.8 (25)Available now
77053 Stargazing with Celeste$9.99786+12.84.8 (22)Available now

Prices are lego.com US list prices on Oct 11 and Oct 24, and none showed a discount on either day. Cents per piece is our arithmetic. All three had a limit of 5 per order on Oct 11.

Desk note: Our lego.com catalog logged no stock or price change for any of the three badged sets between its first read on Oct 10 and its read on Oct 23. For a buyer, that means no stock pressure yet, unlike the two shops beside them.

Blathers's Museum Collection

Is Blathers's Museum worth buying before it goes? For an Animal Crossing fan, the reviews say yes. It is the largest set in the theme on lego.com, it rated 4.9 from 26 reviews on Oct 11, and on Oct 24 it was still in stock at full price.

lego.com says that "With multiple modules, kids can rearrange and customize" the museum's exhibition areas. You dig with a spade "to unearth the missing Triceratops tailbone", reel in fish "to add to the underwater exhibit" and visit "the fountain and the Roost café", with Blathers and Lily as the figures. Brick Fanatics called it "a long-awaited museum model" when retailers revealed it in May 2025.

kristianas_416, who received the set free from LEGO, wrote on September 3, 2025: "My favorite detail is the tiny spinners on the museum sides so the coral and fountain centerpieces can spin!"

The video above is LEGO's official set reveal for the theme, published on LEGO's own YouTube channel. LEGO's October 10, 2023 announcement said the new sets "will be available globally via LEGO Stores, all retailers and on www.LEGO.com from March 1st, 2024."

Goldie's house and Celeste

The two small badged sets are the cheapest ways into the theme on lego.com. 77058 Goldie's Cozy House ($22.99, 149 pieces) has a Goldie minifigure, "the lovable Animal Crossing™ dog", and a house "with a bed, piano and postbox", plus a picnic breakfast.

77053 Stargazing with Celeste ($9.99, 78 pieces) is the theme's smallest set: Celeste the owl, a telescope "to spot falling star fragments" and a cupcake "by candlelight". Ms.CrankySlithraa102 wrote on April 14, 2025 that it "totally captures the animal crossing vibe", adding: "If I could add something it would maybe be a stary sky background just for it to feel a bit more like a standalone set, rather than an add on."

Analysis: is LEGO Animal Crossing ending?

Is LEGO Animal Crossing being discontinued? LEGO has not said so, and the newest set carried no badge on Oct 24. A rumour says the theme gets no new sets in the first half of 2027, but Brick Fanatics, which reported it, treats it as unconfirmed.

Its August 3, 2026 report said: "It's rumoured that both Sonic the Hedgehog and Animal Crossing will receive no new sets in the first half of 2027." It added that its own list has one set from each theme "remaining on shelves until December 2027": 40926 SEGA Genesis Console and 77059 Timmy & Tommy's Fun Day Out. In our retirement-estimate file, 77059 sits under 2027 with no exact date. The report closed with: "Take the rumour of LEGO Sonic the Hedgehog and Animal Crossing's end with a pinch of salt for now, until officially announced otherwise."

The sets without the badge on Oct 24, the same as on Oct 11, were:

77054 Leif's Caravan & Garden Shop$29.99 ($23.99 shown)2637+Sold out

77059 is a change of style. Stonewars wrote in May 2026: "It's been pretty quiet for LEGO Animal Crossing lately, but on August 1, 2026 a larger set for the cozy game is finally coming." Jay's Brick Blog described "a brand new brick-built character format" in which "this 513-piece model lets you build Timmy and Tommy". Brick Fanatics' August 3 report pointed readers to "both lines' brand new sets launched over the weekend". 77059 is also one of the picks in our best LEGO sets for 8 to 12 year olds.

Brick Fanatics' retiring page, last updated October 13, 2026, lists the three badged sets for December 31, 2026 and the two sold-out shops for July 31, 2026. Those are fan-site estimates. It also lists 77057 Creative Houses: Seasons of Fun for July 31, 2026, a set lego.com's theme page did not show on either day we read it. On Oct 11 and Oct 24 the two shops were sold out at lego.com with no badge and a lower price shown, but nothing to order. Our Sonic retiring list, the other theme named in the rumour, found 77003 Super Shadow vs. Biolizard in the same state.

Our take

Buy Blathers's Museum without rushing: all three badged sets were in stock at full price on Oct 24. It is the theme's biggest set, 543 pieces, rated 4.9 from 26 reviews, and our change log shows no stock or price move for it since Oct 10. Celeste ($9.99) and Goldie ($22.99) are low-cost add-ons.

Buy now if you want the museum at $79.99 list and would rather not test Brick Fanatics' December 31 estimate. Skip or wait if you only want the two shops: both read Sold out, and lego.com gave no restock date.

What we don't know yet: whether LEGO ends the theme; the 2027 rumour is unconfirmed. If it proves right, 77059 is the set Brick Fanatics expects to stay longest. On our watchlist: we re-check badges and stock every 14 days through December.

How we checked this

On October 11, 2026 we read lego.com's Animal Crossing theme page from its page data and opened the product pages of the five older sets, copying price, pieces, age mark, rating, order limit, stock and badge from the visible page and the contents from the Features section; 77059 comes from the theme page data. On October 24 we read the theme page again in a headless browser and compared badge, price and stock for all six sets; the change log in our desk note is our catalog's record from Oct 10 to Oct 23. We read the Customer Reviews of 77056 and 77053 and copied quotes with name, date and whether the reviewer received the set free. We read LEGO's October 10, 2023 announcement and checked that the reveal video is on LEGO's own YouTube channel, then read Brick Fanatics' August 3, 2026 rumour report, its May 2025 museum report and its retiring page (October 13 update), and Stonewars' and Jay's Brick Blog's May 2026 reports on 77059. Totals and cents per piece are our arithmetic, and a second pass compared every number with our source table.
