Retired LEGO Star Wars sets now include most of the big display pieces from 2016 to 2022. On October 12, 2026, lego.com labelled seven large Star Wars sets "Retired Product": the UCS AT-AT, The Razor Crest, the Imperial Star Destroyer, the 2016 Death Star, the Republic Gunship, Mos Eisley Cantina and Betrayal at Cloud City. Their pages, ratings and building instructions are still on lego.com.

Retired LEGO Star Wars sets: the quick answer

Seven of them, by lego.com's own label. Each product page shows "Retired Product" where the stock line would be, and its page data says "Discontinued". These are the large Star Wars sets in our retired set archive, not every retired Star Wars set: smaller sets retire every year too. For the Star Wars sets that still carry the Retiring soon badge, see our Star Wars retiring list.

Key Takeaways

  • 7 Retired Product labels on October 12, 2026: 75313, 75331, 75252, 75159, 75309, 75290 and 75222.
  • Two show more than their launch price: 75313 AT-AT shows $849.99 against a US $799.99 launch price, and 75309 Republic Gunship $399.99 against $349.99.
  • The highest-rated is the Cantina: 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina rates 4.7 from 253 reviews; 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City is lowest at 3.6.
  • Instructions survive: lego.com listed PDF booklets for all seven on October 11, 2026.
  • Three big sets available now: 75419 Death Star, 75457 Executor Super Star Destroyer and 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge were Available now on October 11.

Overview: the 7 retired Star Wars sets we checked

We opened each lego.com product page on October 12, 2026 and copied the label, rating, review count, age mark, piece count and the price still printed on the page. The year is Rebrickable's release year; minifigures are Rebrickable's count for the set.

75222 Betrayal at Cloud City20182,81214+203.6 (38)$349.99

The price on a retired page is a record, not an offer. Several pages show a lower second price as well; we do not know when it applied. The 75313 and 75290 pages also still carried lego.com's "Hard to find" badge above the title, and the 75252 page adds "There's a new version of this set." Minifigure counts differ by source: lego.com's own text says 75159 "Includes 23 minifigures" and 75222 "Includes 19 minifigures!", where Rebrickable counts 27 and 20. Each set links to its BrickWatchlist page with the same lego.com facts and the instruction PDFs.

The UCS ships and walkers

Which Ultimate Collector Series sets are gone? Four of the seven are UCS-scale models: the AT-AT, The Razor Crest, the Imperial Star Destroyer and the Republic Gunship.

The 75313 AT-AT is the largest set here. The Brothers Brick wrote in November 2021 that "With 6,785 pieces, 75313 AT-AT stands over two feet tall and features a fully detailed interior. It includes nine minifigures", and listed it "Available Nov. 26" at US $799.99. Its retired page shows $849.99. On Eurobricks, SquirrelArmy opened a modding thread on November 27, 2021 with a fan's question: "With the addition of 3 more speeders and 35 more Snowtroopers, the vehicle will have it's full complement of troops but what about the rest of the listed specs?"

The 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer was the 2019 flagship. Jay's Brick Blog reported it "Priced at US$699.99/AU$1099.99", with "a release date of 1 October, but LEGO VIP members get early access to the set on 18 September." Its lego.com rating is the second lowest of the seven, 3.9 from 262 reviews. tmaus18 gave it two stars on February 28, 2022: "once it's built, make sure you don't need to move it." Led073, in a four-star review, called it "massive at 109cm long x 65cm wide and 44cm high". On Jay's Brick Blog, reader Joel Heckmann wrote on September 13, 2019: "$700 and a dearth of mini-figures make this hard to justify, but I still plan on picking it up."

The 75331 The Razor Crest came from The Mandalorian in 2022. Jay's Brick Blog called it "breathtakingly huge, coming in at 6,187 pieces", priced at US$599.99. The minifigures include The Mandalorian and Grogu, and our Mandalorian minifigure page lists every set with him.

The 75309 Republic Gunship shows the biggest gap in percentage terms among the sets with a sourced launch price. LEGO's July 2021 announcement said it would be "available starting on August 1, 2021 via LEGO Stores and LEGO.com and will retail for the recommended price of $349.99", for "3,292-pieces". Its page now shows $399.99.

The minifigure playsets

The other three are playsets built around scenes and characters rather than one ship. Rebrickable counts 27 minifigures in the 75159 Death Star, 21 in 75290 Mos Eisley Cantina and 20 in 75222 Betrayal at Cloud City, against two to nine in the UCS models.

The 2016 Death Star is the oldest set here. Brick Fanatics' announcement listed it for ages 14+ with 4,016 pieces at US $499.99, the same price its page still shows. Its minifigures include Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Emperor Palpatine; our Darth Vader minifigure page lists every set with a Vader figure.

The Cantina is the best-rated set of the seven on lego.com, 4.7 from 253 reviews. Betrayal at Cloud City has the fewest reviews, 38, and the lowest rating, 3.6.

Instructions after retirement

Can you rebuild a retired Star Wars set from your own parts? Yes. lego.com's building instructions pages listed PDF booklets for all seven when we checked on October 11, 2026: four each for 75313 AT-AT and 75331 The Razor Crest, one each for the rest. Our instructions lookup links to the lego.com PDFs. For complete retired sets, LEGO's help page says of BrickLink: "It’s often the best place to find retired sets and connect with other fans." We do not track resale prices.

Analysis: the big Star Wars sets available now

Newer large Star Wars sets fill the space the retired seven left. On October 11, 2026 lego.com listed:

  • 75419 Death Star, $999.99, 9,023 pieces, Available now: more than twice the pieces of the retired 75159 at twice the price.
  • 75457 Executor Super Star Destroyer, $799.99, 6,130 pieces, marked New: the new capital ship, $100 above the Imperial Star Destroyer's launch price.
  • 75397 Jabba's Sail Barge, $499.99, 3,943 pieces, Available now.
  • 75192 Millennium Falcon, $849.99, 7,541 pieces, Available now but with the Retiring soon badge.

Per piece, the current sets sit close to the retired ones. The retired AT-AT's $849.99 for 6,785 pieces is 12.5 cents a piece; the Executor is 13.1 cents and the new Death Star 11.1 cents. Our best LEGO Star Wars sets for adults ranks the current sets, and the Millennium Falcon retiring report covers the one big set with the badge.

Our take

Based on the lego.com pages above, the retired sets are a reference point, not a shopping list: lego.com no longer sells them, and we do not cover resale. What they do show is that the last lego.com price of a big Star Wars set can sit above its launch price, as it does for the AT-AT and the Gunship. If one of today's sets is on your list, the Millennium Falcon is the one with the badge, so that is the one we would not leave for later. The new Death Star and the Executor had no badge on October 11. If you own a retired set, lego.com still hosts its instructions.

How we checked this

On October 12, 2026 we opened the lego.com product pages of all seven sets in a desktop browser and copied the label, rating, review count, age mark, piece count and prices from the visible page, and the availability from the page data. We read the Customer Reviews of 75252. Release years and minifigure counts come from Rebrickable's catalog download (checked October 11). Instruction booklets come from our October 11 read of lego.com's building instructions pages, and current prices from our October 11 lego.com catalog read. We read LEGO's July 2021 Republic Gunship announcement, The Brothers Brick on 75313, Brick Fanatics on 75159, Jay's Brick Blog on 75252 and 75331 including its reader comments, a Eurobricks thread on 75313, and LEGO's help page on retired sets. Cents per piece is our arithmetic.
