Best Retiring LEGO Sets 2026: 8 Ranked, 4 Under $100

Of the 26 adult sets on lego.com's Retiring soon page on Oct 29, eight make our list of the best retiring LEGO sets 2026 has to offer, and four cost under $100. The cheapest per piece is not a Star Wars ship or a Technic car. It is a flower arrangement, at 5.7 cents a piece after a 40% cut.

How we picked: every set marked 18+ on lego.com's Retiring soon page, read on October 29, 2026. We kept the ones reading Available now, ranked them by price per piece at that day's price, and checked product-page ratings down the ranking with a 4.5-star floor; no set in the top eight came close to it, all rated 4.6 or higher. No resale data, no value predictions. We haven't built these sets; build impressions are quoted from builders who have.

Best retiring LEGO sets 2026: the quick answer

The top eight are 10345 Flower Arrangement, 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell, 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System, 21333 The Starry Night, 40814 Baby Elephant in the Sky, 10280 Flower Bouquet, 21356 River Steamboat and 10335 The Endurance. Four cost under $100. All eight carry the badge and read Available now. Our Retiring soon tracker lists every badged set across themes.

Overview: the 26 adult sets on the Retiring soon page

lego.com's Retiring soon page listed 226 products across ten pages on Oct 29, and 26 were marked 18+. Sold-out sets drop off that page, so the Wreath and The Botanical Garden, both badged and Sold out, are not in this table. Here are the 26 by price per piece, our arithmetic from that day's price:

Points are the number lego.com shows for each set; the points calculator turns them into dollars. The full theme-by-theme picture, including sets for younger builders, is in our list of LEGO sets retiring in 2026.

The eight picks, ranked by price per piece

1. 10345 Flower Arrangement: $65.99, 5.7 cents a piece

Forty percent off on Oct 29, down from $109.99, and that discount is why it leads. lego.com lists camellia, peonies, hydrangeas, baby's breath, ranunculus, bouvardia and lilies in a brick-built chalice, 1,161 pieces, rated 4.8 from 42 reviews. It carries the Exclusives flag next to the badge. Our Botanicals retiring list has the other five flower sets with the badge, one of them already Sold out.

It is the pick for anyone who wants one adult set under $100: 5.7 cents a piece, the lowest of the 26. That rank rests on the discount, though. At its $109.99 list price it would cost 9.5 cents a piece and fall to the middle of the table.

2. 10353 Williams Racing FW14B & Nigel Mansell: $55.99, 7.0 cents

A Mansell minifigure stands beside the car that, in lego.com's words, "propelled Nigel Mansell to victory in the 1992 Formula 1 World Championship." It was 30% off on Oct 29, from $79.99, and rates 4.8 from 90 reviews. The two Speed Champions F1 cars on the list cost $26.99 but run nearly 11 cents a piece. Our guide to every LEGO F1 set puts it next to the current cars.

Image: The LEGO Group (lego.com)

For an F1 fan's desk, 799 pieces for $55.99 is hard to beat on this page. Like the Flower Arrangement, its rank depends on the sale price; at list it would be 10.0 cents.

3. 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System: $259.99, 7.2 cents

The first set here at full price. lego.com describes "a multistage rocket with 2 solid-fuel boosters, an Orion capsule and a detailed mobile launch tower": 3,601 pieces, 4.6 from 301 reviews, a limit of three per order. It earns 1,690 points, worth $13.00 by our arithmetic.

Image: The LEGO Group (lego.com)

It is the biggest model under $300 here, and at 7.2 cents a piece it is cheaper per piece than every Star Wars set on the list. Its 4.6 is the lowest rating among our top four.

4. 21333 Vincent van Gogh - The Starry Night: $169.99, 7.3 cents

The most reviewed of the eight, 4.7 from 449. It includes a Van Gogh minifigure with paintbrush, palette and easel, and lego.com says you can "Hang the finished set on the wall with an included hook." On r/lego, u/shmmmokeddd wrote: "Starry Night is way more impressive when you build it. The pics don't do it justice." Our Starry Night retiring page has its full history on lego.com.

For one display piece over $100, it pairs 7.3 cents a piece with the strongest review record of the eight. Know what you are buying: it is wall art, not a model you walk around.

5. 40814 Baby Elephant in the Sky: $29.99, 7.5 cents

The cheapest pick. lego.com sells it as a gift for new parents, "featuring an adorable baby elephant on a cloud base," with 402 pieces and an 18+ mark. Brick Fanatics files it in its "exclusive LEGO" section under 2026 with no month.

Image: The LEGO Group (lego.com)

At $29.99 for 402 pieces it is an easy baby-shower gift for a LEGO fan. Its 4.7 rating on the product page rests on just seven reviews, so treat it as thin evidence.

6. 10280 Flower Bouquet: $59.99, 7.9 cents

Brick Fanatics dated it July 31 this year. On Oct 29 it was still Available now with 4.6 from 376 reviews, the most of any flower set here. It has 15 stems.

Buy it only if you want these particular flowers: the unbadged 10328 Bouquet of Roses costs the same $59.99 for 822 pieces.

7. 21356 River Steamboat: $329.99, 8.1 cents

The largest pick: 4,090 pieces, and lego.com says "the 27 in. (69 cm) long set makes for a spectacular display piece." It rates 4.7 from 94 reviews and earns 2,145 points, $16.50 by our arithmetic.

It has the most pieces of the 26, and it needs a long, empty shelf: 27 inches, at the highest price of the eight.

8. 10335 The Endurance: $269.99, 9.0 cents

Shackleton's ship, the wreck lego.com notes was "rediscovered" in 2022. 3,011 pieces, 4.6 from 341 reviews, limit two per order.

A history or polar-exploration fan gets 3,011 pieces and a well-reviewed design. At 9.0 cents a piece it is the priciest of the eight per piece, so buyers counting cost per brick get more from the Artemis.

Under $100: the eleven that missed the cut

Fifteen of the 26 adult sets cost under $100 on Oct 29. Four are picks above. These are the other eleven and what kept each out:

The Polaroid splits builders. u/Ponderer13 called it "What a fascinating mechanism!", while u/training_tortoises wrote that the Polaroid "has an interesting mechanism for the photos but otherwise I feel it's a lackluster building experience." If you want it for the mechanism, the per-piece figure matters less. Our best LEGO sets for adults under $100 ranks the whole price band, badged or not.

Analysis: what Insiders points add to a retiring order

LEGO's US rate is 6.5 points per dollar, and 650 points take $5 off, so every $100 spent comes back as $5 in points. On the eight picks that ranges from 195 points ($1.50) on the Baby Elephant to 2,145 ($16.50) on the River Steamboat. Buying all eight, $1,241.92 at Oct 29 prices, would earn 8,073 points: twelve $5 rewards with 273 points left. That is a 5% rebate, too small to decide between sets; our guide to what LEGO Insiders points are worth covers the rules.

One more detail sat on every product page we opened: a gift with purchase, Build, Paint and Play!, unlocks above $130, and lego.com says it ends 11/08/2026.

The harder question is timing. On r/lego in September, u/shorerider69 answered a buyer weighing Black Friday for the Beauty and the Beast Castle: "Waiting till Black Friday on the off chance there's a sale is almost always a bad idea."

Desk note: Six of the sets named in a September 14 r/lego thread, "Which retiring set should I buy?", are ones we track. By our reads, four have since sold out on lego.com: the Grand Piano, the Lamborghini Countach and Willy Wonka at our Oct 27 catalog read, and The Botanical Garden on Oct 29. The Starry Night and the Polaroid were still Available now. LEGO had given a date for none of them; the stock is what ran out.

The top-voted answer in that thread, from u/hatefulevo:

Reddit comment picking The Botanical Garden and The Starry Night from LEGO's retiring sets

"Botanical garden and starry night would be my picks," with 13 points when we read it. Half of that answer is no longer available at lego.com.

Not on this list, and why

Three famous sets over $100 miss for plain reasons. 43263 Beauty and the Beast Castle ($279.99, 4.7 stars) runs 9.6 cents a piece, just outside the cut; our Beauty and the Beast Castle retiring page has its stock history. 10302 Optimus Prime ($179.99) costs 11.9 cents a piece, well past the 9.0-cent cut, and Brick Fanatics' July 31 date for it has passed. 75382 TIE Interceptor ($229.99) also costs 11.9 cents a piece; Star Wars buyers should start with our Star Wars retiring list.

Of the 26 adult sets, the worst value is 42215 Volvo EC500 Hybrid Excavator: $429.99, 18.2 cents a piece, and a 60-day ship line. Skip it unless you collect Technic machines. Two badged sets never reached the table at all: 21353 The Botanical Garden and 10340 Wreath read Sold out on Oct 29, so lego.com had dropped them from the page.

What the numbers settle, and what they don't

By budget, the data points one way each: the Flower Arrangement under $100 at 5.7 cents a piece on sale, and The Starry Night above it at 7.3 cents at full price, with 449 reviews behind its 4.7. Stock has mattered more than dates so far: four of the six sets named in that September reader thread have sold out since, and four of the 26 adult sets showed a 60-day ship line on Oct 29.

Still open: whether the two sale prices hold into November, and which of these sets LEGO pulls first. We re-read the Retiring soon page and these eight product pages every 14 days through December. This ranking uses only the lego.com data and sources cited above, checked Oct 29.

How we checked this

On October 29 we read all ten pages of lego.com's Retiring soon page in a desktop browser and parsed each set's price, list price, pieces, age mark, stock line and points from the page data. We opened the product pages of the eight picks and seven sets left out for ratings and feature text, read lego.com's two Insiders help pages and Brick Fanatics' retiring hub (updated Oct 26), and copied Reddit comments through Arctic Shift. Price per piece and points in dollars are our arithmetic.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the best retiring LEGO sets in 2026? By price per piece among adult sets lego.com showed as Available now and rated 4.5 or higher on October 29, 2026: 10345 Flower Arrangement, 10353 Williams Racing FW14B, 10341 NASA Artemis Space Launch System and 21333 The Starry Night lead. All four carry the Retiring soon badge.

Which retiring LEGO sets for adults cost under $100? Fifteen of the 26 sets marked 18+ on lego.com's Retiring soon page cost under $100 on October 29. Four made our top eight: the Flower Arrangement ($65.99), the Williams FW14B ($55.99), Baby Elephant in the Sky ($29.99) and the Flower Bouquet ($59.99).

How much are 2,500 LEGO Insiders points worth? In the US, 650 points take $5 off, so 2,500 points cover three $5 rewards, $15 in total, with 550 points left over. A $100 order earns 650 points, which works out to $5 back on every $100 spent at lego.com.

When do these retiring LEGO sets leave lego.com? LEGO does not say; lego.com shows only the Retiring soon badge. Brick Fanatics, a fan site, lists December 31, 2026 for six of our eight picks, July 31, 2026 for the Flower Bouquet (still in stock on October 29) and only 2026 for Baby Elephant in the Sky.

Should I wait for Black Friday to buy a retiring LEGO set? On our tracker, waiting has cost buyers sets: the Wreath sold out on October 16 and The Botanical Garden between October 27 and October 29, both with the badge and weeks before any fan-site date. A discount later is possible; a set in stock later is not guaranteed.
